For Tomorrow: Beautiful Voices of Japanese Children's Choir

Project "Hana wa Saku": Children's choir and children's skating in Sendai in support of reconstruction projects following the Japan's Northeast earthquake and tsunami disaster.

When I saw this short video clip on TV (TV Japan, New York), I was moved by beautiful voices of this Japanese children's choir. Among them are two solists. Both soloists have beautiful voices. The song is titled "Hana wa Saku" (Flower blooms). The song is the theme song for the earthquake and tsunami disaster reconstruction effort and its projects.

Shizuka Arakawa, a Japanese Olympic gold medalist in figure skating, joins the local children skaters at the ice arena in Sendai, where the gold medalist grew up and trained through her high school days.

"花は 花は 花は咲く
いつか 生まれる君に
花は 花は 花は咲く
いつか 恋する 君のために"

"Flower will bloom, Flower will bloom,
for you, who are yet to be born someday,
Flower will bloom, Flower will bloom,
for you, who are going to love someone someday..."
